Spam?!

Am I the last one to know that Spam is basically a food staple? And beyond huge in Hawaii? And tastes great? Evidently, I am.

A new friend brought me up-to-date on this delicacy and challenged my skeptic side by urging me to try Rutt's Cafe in Los Angeles. 

I did.

It was good. Really good. Where have I been??

I had the Spam Royale, which was Spam, white rice, eggs, scallions, and bean sprouts, with a Hawaiian roll:

With an Iced Hawaiian Kona coffee. Also good.

Now, Mr. B. and I are busy planning a trip to Hawaii!
